About
Current research focuses on Late Cretaceous ammonite systematic palaeontology, biostratigraphy and biogeography. Work in progress aims at establishing biostratigraphic scales that are useable in international correlations, and notably with inoceramid and calcareous nannofossil "standard" zonations.
Two research areas:
1. The Aquitaine and Anglo-Paris basins of Europe, which are the starting point for improving the historical biostratigraphic schemes.
2. The Diego and Morondava basins of Madagascar, which offer ideal conditions for correlations with the Antarctic, Atlantic and European provinces.
